    Wink

If I'm not mistaken, it seems most people are shooting with Kodachrome, who log on to this forum.

Question out of the people who transfer to video is Kodachrome your favorite film or one of the color neg stocks? Which ones and why?

I think every stock has it's strength. Lame answer, but true.

    Red face

I thought everyone would injoy seeing what film stocks are popular in Supper 8 and why.

OK,...I'll answer my own question.....I most pleased with Plus- X Reversal. I have used Kodachrome, but I thought it was much to slow for interior lighting. and two contrasty
for exterior work. Unless you want to use skrims and fill like crazy.

Since I have not shot in Super 8 for a number of years I was interested in what others have learned.

I've never used the negative stocks, just the plus x and Kodachrome and ektachrome..I prefer Kodachrome for filming, but haven't tried Rank for Super 8....when i used to film animation for a living, we started out using a 16mm VNF reversal film, but then later switched to a Negative stock 16mm...can't remember the speed, but we always had it Ranked, and it looked great!
